Brownies on a different level

I’ve had this pan for forever and never managed to use it.


So finally this year I made an effort and got some Ghiradelli double chocolate brownie mix.


35 minutes in a 325 F oven was perfect. I let them cool in the pan, then plated them with a dusting of powdered sugar.


Dad took his a step further with whipped cream.



WOOSH! They Were Gone!

I am going to try these ASAP. One of these with a scoop of (soy) ice cream sounds like heaven after a day of writing.

Rantings of an Amateur Chef

A quick post to represent how quickly these brownies went from the oven into people’s stomachs! It was so fast I didn’t even get a good picture of an individual brownie! They came out of the oven and WOOSH! They were gone!

In making these, I splurged for as deluxe of a brownie mix as I could find – Ghiradelli Chocolate Supreme!

So easy to make and so easy to eat (a whole pan of them).

Kahlua Brownies



  • 1 package brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1⁄2 cup oil
  • 1⁄4 cup KAHLÚA


Mix the contents of the package together with the oil, egg and KAHLÚA. Bake at 350oF for 30 minutes or until the top is dry
